Achievements
The Thoroughbred Breeders in Western Australia have a lot to be proud of, our home grown horses have been able to not only take on the Eastern Stakes horses in the major races, but more often than not take home the first prize. Our horses are renowned for their toughness and through the deeds of the great champions in Aquanita, Northerly, Miss Andretti, Placid Ark, Coal Pak, Heron Bridge, Scenic Blast and Scenic Shot to name a select few we have definitely stamped ourselves as the State for producing the goods with our locally bred horses that perform at the highest level and more often than not are sold as reasonably priced yearlings.
Western Australian horses have also been at the forefront of great success with South East Asian and South African Racing. Our achievements are notable with Group winning horses in Asia including the great Superb Effect, Free Spirit, Binjai Park, Raul, Captain Obvious, Triple Magic, Triple Luck, Triple Smile and many more, all Group winners and multi million dollar earners for connections.
In South Africa our horses have also produced the goods including Group winners Tropical Empire and Silver Empire to name a few.
Our relations with both these large racing precedents are excellent and we hope that this will continue to grow from strength to strength.
